Wallington Village Hall

Wallington Village Hall,

I went to a antique fair that was run by the same people as Teddington antique fair is run by Kon Kiki Fairs who are great.
The hall is big but dull, it is very accessable because there is a ramp, I struck lucky with the fair, but it was not busy.
You could get a cup of tea 50p coffee 60p and hot chocolate 90p, they also do toasted sandwichs to order from blue cheese and mushrooms to ham and cheese and onion.
The hall has a mens and ladies toilet upstairs right ladies, left mens. The accessible toilet is hidden from view it is a rader key lock but they have the key fixed to the door by a nail fixed to a chain so anyone can use it, it rather defeats the point of having a rader key lock.
The accessable toilet is big, but basic and is missing the emergancy pull cord.

The parking is werid there is NO car park, but there are spaces outside we where in luck.

When we left I pushed the button that said "Push To Open" but the door did not move my mum had to open it by hand the door made the noise as if it wanted to open but nothing came of it.

Garsons Farm, is a garden centre with a bit added, as well as it being a garden centre where you can buy plants, pots, spades and everything you need for the garden.

You can also get Teak tables and

chairs for those summer BBQ's or just to sit outside with a coffee and a newspaper

Garsons Farm has got a very smart accessable toilet with LED lights in the floor, it has a very powerful hand dryer and good grab rails, the one let down is it is also the baby changing room as well.

You I would think by now you would like a refreshment break Garsons Farm has got a cafe where you can get:
Tea, Coffee and the normal selection as well as food like bagels sandwiches and pakets of bicsuits.

The cafe is nice and the tables and chairs are not fixed so it is easy for a wheelchair user to get into the table.

Garson has a well as the main Garden Centre they also have a wonderful "Farm Shop" that sells fresh fruit and veg and flowers and chocolates.

As well as the garden centre and farm shop, if you feel you have what it takes you can go and "Pick Your Own" fruit and veg

The Pick Your Own is not free and the ground is a bit rough

Cafe Strudel that is in Sheen is a Austrian style cafe that sells food such as Apple Strudel, but they also sell cakes such as Carrot Cake, Coffee Cake and Chocolate Cake

They have got the normal range of drinks:

Orange, Coke, Fanta, Water.

the hot drinks are: Austrian Style Hot Chocolate with either whipped cream, whipped cream plus flake, or whipped cream, flake and marshmellows (the hot chocolate comes in a glass without a handle) but you can asked for a lattie glass.

Coffee: Lattie, Cappicuio, Expressco (single, double) Tea: Earl Grey, Assam, Scottish Breakfast Tea (almost the same as English Breakfast but with as twist and it's leaf tea).

photo of cake.

The Access into the cafe is good but there is a small ridge to get over but no steps, as you can see in the photo the seats are not fixed so you can move them out of the way to make room for a wheelchair. All the tables are the same height.

This photo gives you a good view of the tables, Cafe Strudel has two toilets but unfortunatey they don't have a accessible toilet.

The staff are very nice and they are very keen on having live music.
